Nick Knight-Evans

Partner, COO & General Counsel

Nick is one of the 7 founding partners of TwentyFour and, as the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer, has responsibility for a range of functions including operations, infrastructure and compliance. As a qualified lawyer with a background in finance and fund structures, Nick also acts as the Firm’s General Counsel. Nick is a member of the Firm’s Management Board, alongside the two Managing Partners.

Before founding TwentyFour, Nick was a partner and the COO and General Counsel at Synapse Investment Management. Prior to this, Nick was a Director within the Legal Department of Barclays Capital where he was responsible for running a number of teams of lawyers including the Fund-Linked Derivatives, Investment Solutions Structuring and Prime Services teams. In this role, Nick worked closely with a large number of funds and fund management firms where the scope of his work included fund formation, fund financing and a wide range of securitised and OTC derivative products.

Nick joined Barclays Capital in 2003. Prior to that, he worked as in-house counsel at both BNP Paribas and Société Générale. Nick qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and worked for the English law firm, Wilde Sapte, before opting for an in-house legal career.
